Stopping a Duplicate Tax Payment Before It Happened
A short-term rental property started having its occupancy taxes remitted directly by Airbnb for some bookings, while the owner was still paying manually for others. I noticed the overlap risk before it caused a problem and built a tracking system in Monday.com that separates Airbnb-paid stays from owner-paid stays, so the same tax never gets paid twice.
